Teacher Day

🌸 Virtual Teacher’s Day Celebration 2025 – Department of English Mkbu.

On 5th September 2025, the Department of English came together to celebrate Teacher’s Day in a truly special way. Though virtual, the celebration carried warmth, respect, and admiration for our b teachers who continue to guide us with wisdom, patience, and inspiration.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a special video presentation on the Victorian Age, prepared by the me. The Victorian Age is one of the richest periods in English literature, known for its moral values, social consciousness, and timeless authors such as Charles Dickens, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and the Brontë sisters.

Through the video, students beautifully connected the Victorian spirit of guidance, morality, and learning with the role of teachers in our own lives. Just as Victorian writers illuminated society with their ideas, teachers illuminate the path of knowledge for students.
